Bank description
With a mix of woodland, meadows and scrub our Dartmoor habitat bank takes former farmland and connects it to the bigger, better and more joined up habitats that exist within the wider Dartmoor National Park.
The site is already home to some of Devon’s more notable rare species such as dormice, glow worms and the greater horseshoe bat and we hope to lure in further iconic species such as cirl buntings and barn owl with a management plan in place to help encourage such species to thrive within this habitat bank.
