Bank description
Our Torridge habitat bank mainly focuses on restoring heavily improved pasture through the creation of a mixed scrub mosaic. With the bank consisting of two main parcels of scrub on a rolling hillside that both drop down to a wooded valley and a fast flowing stream. Sections of the woodland will be enhanced along with two tributary steams that will track through the scrub and into the valley below. Where possible the water will be held back in a series of leaky dams, ponds and wetland areas that will create a rich and diversified habitat supporting a wide range of species.
