A mosaic of habitats across a South Devon valley
Pockets of differing scrub provide stepping stones within rolling meadows, and at the valley floor the landscape turns into a floodplain wetland mosaic with an enhanced watercourse running through it. Mighty old oaks, mature hedges and extensive new planting give the wildlife of south Devon a safe haven. Much of the ongoing management is by conservation grazing, with small numbers of hardy cattle browsing the ever-changing vegetation, helpfully monitored in partnership with the students and staff at the neighbouring forest school.

Option to reserve units
We hold the units against your development while your planning application progresses, so the units are ready when you are.
Complete the purchase
Units are paid for and we submit the application to formally allocate the off-site units to your project on the National Biodiversity Gain Site Register. We also supply the off-site information necessary to complete the Biodiversity Gain Plan.
Offset registered
Natural England processes the application and confirms the allocation has been accepted within six weeks. We forward the formal confirmation once this process has been completed, enabling the LPA to discharge the off-site element of the pre-commencement BNG condition.
